Upon the recommendation of the Acute Care Services Committee and as ratified by the State Health Coordinating Council on September 26, 2007, a work group addressing quality, access and value has been appointed by the chairman.
In consultation with the Division of Health Service Regulation (DHSR), Dr. Dan Myers, council chairman, has appointed an 11-member work group, the Quality, Access and Value (QAV) work group. He has asked Dr. Dana Copeland to serve as chairman for this work group. The work group membership list is shown below.
The first meeting of the Quality, Access and Value Work Group will be held on March 6, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Brownstone Hotel and Conference Center, 1707 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. Directions are available on the website.
The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end around 12:00 noon.
The second meeting will be held on April 3, 2008 and the third meeting will be held on April 24, 2008. These meetings will also begin at 10 a.m. The location of the second and third meetings has not been determined; however, once the location is determined, it will be posted on the DHSR website.
Please note that any changes to the QAV work group meeting schedule will be posted on the site.
