Spring 2023
The deadline for comments on the Spring 2023 petitions and comments is 5:00 p.m. on the dates listed
below.
March 1, 2023: The Council will conduct a public hearing on statewide issues related to
development of the North Carolina Proposed 2024 State Medical Facilities Plan immediately following the
business meeting.
March 15, 2023: Deadline for receipt of written comments regarding petitions or comments
submitted by the March 1 deadline on statewide issues related to the development of the North Carolina
Proposed 2024 State Medical Facilities Plan.

July 26, 2023: Deadline for receipt of petitions for adjustments to need determinations
and other written comments regarding the Proposed 2024 State Medical Facilities Plan.
August 09, 2023: Deadline for receipt of written comments regarding petitions or other
matters concerning the Proposed 2024 State Medical Facilities Plan.
The Agency received a very large number of comments on petitions. Thus, comments that were presented in a standardized letter were combined into one file. Also, for petitions for adjusted need determinations for outpatient dialysis stations at nursing home facilities, comments relevant to each petition were combined into one file. The numbers of comments within each of those files are indicated below.
