All nominations must be received by June 30th in order to be reviewed by the EMS Advisory Council (EMSAC) Awards Committee. The recipient(s) selected by the EMS Advisory Council will receive the award on Tuesday evening, October 7, 2014, during the EM-Today banquet. | October 12, 2011 - National Registry has recently sent information to NREMT-Paramedics to "contact their state office" regarding the availability of a transition course to renew National Registry certification. NCOEMS is working with the NC Association of EMS educators, NC Community College Educators and the NC EMS Agency Educators to develop a transition course to satisfy National Registry requirements and to develop guidelines regarding the new EMS education standards. We hope to have additional information regarding the transition course and guidelines sent out to all NC EMS stakeholders by mid 2012. |
