Facility Survey Consultant I
Job description:
These positions are responsible for performing duties related to the licensing and certification of nursing homes either through an on-site inspection process or in office review of documentation. The primary duties are to conduct licensure, standard and complaint investigation regulatory compliance surveys, in accordance with State Licensure and/or Federal Certification guidelines, for nursing homes by applying a defined protocol. In fulfilling these duties, communication with facility staff, residents, families and complainants is required. A post survey report is generated using various software applications.
These positions are located in Raleigh and will travel in one of four territories from Winston-Salem to the coast; extensive overnight travel required. Routine work schedule with variations as determined by the nature of the survey, including occasional nights and weekends.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
These positions require a strong clinical background, good oral and written communication skills and the ability to function as an interdisciplinary team member as well as independently. Strong organizational and analytical skills are necessary.
Requirements: (these particular requirements pertain to only the RNs)
Must be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
BSN degree with four years of experience in nursing with two years at the supervisory level; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

These positions are being continuously recruited as they have been determined to be critical in nature. We have offices in Black Mountain and Raleigh, and a branch in Charlotte that works out of the Black Mountain office. The survey teams consist of RN's, dietitians, social workers, and pharmacists which face exciting challenges as they conduct their inspections.
