This web page houses the DHHS Audit Confirmation Reports that are used to confirm the amount of financial assistance payments made to local governments and certain not-for-profit organizations in North Carolina by the seven DHHS divisions that administer the programs through which these funds are awarded. These reports are used primarily by the local governments and their independent auditors (CPAs) for the purpose of completing the "Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and State Awards", which is a required part of the annual Single Audit Report as described in North Carolina General Statute 159-34 and the Federal Single Audit Act of 1984.

Select the " Local Government Entity " and the corresponding " Report " from the listboxes given below and click on " Download "

Notes:
1: If you select a report that begins with the division initials Central Admin, DAAS, DCDEE, DHSR, DMH, DPH, or DSS, you will also need to use the corresponding key pages from the list box entitled "Division Key Pages" in order to interpret the report data.

2: Beginning in State Fiscal Year 2016-2017, the Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) transitioned from reimbursing subsidy payments to counties through the Subsidized Child Care Reimbursement System (SCCRS) to reimbursing the providers directly through the NCFast subsystem. Throughout State Fiscal Year 2017-2018, there were some counties that were reimbursed through SCCRS and they are listed on the List Pay 1 and List Pay 2 reports included in this audit confirmation report.
